Reliably prevent annoying blockages and measurement errors in your wastewater system! The KUS Model S3H was developed exclusively for the extreme challenges posed by sewage tanks (black water) and gray water tanks on board boats and yachts. While conventional sensors in wastewater tanks quickly become blocked by solids, toilet paper, or deposits, the Model S3H offers long-term operational reliability.

The key feature is the integrated stainless steel protective cage, which completely encloses the sensor tube. It reliably keeps coarse particles away from the float while allowing the liquid to pass through unimpeded.

⚠️ Important note regarding the output signal (240–33 ohms, U.S. standard):

This special model operates within the American resistance range of 240–33 ohms (the sensor outputs 240 ohms when the tank is empty and 33 ohms when the tank is full).

Please note: Standard European gauges (0–190 ohms) are not directly compatible with this sensor (the display would be upside down or not work at all). To ensure error-free operation, order the appropriate US-standard gauge directly with:

📐 Installation & Measurement Instructions for Model S3H:

Due to its protective outer cage, the S3H model has a total diameter of 55 mm. Make sure your tank opening is large enough. To determine the length:

Inner clear tank height minus at least 15 mm to 20 mm = your ideal sensor length. Contact with the tank bottom must be avoided at all costs.
Mounting: Convenient 1 1/4" BSP screw-in thread including a professional O-ring seal.
